Black Lives Matter plans Armed 'peace officers' in war on police, NY leader says

The Black Lives Matter movement will develop an armed branch of “peace officers” to combat police brutality in black communities during the so-called war on police, according to one of its leaders.

Protests broke out across the country following the death of unarmed Minneapolis black man George Floyd while in police custody, bringing the BLM movement back into national focus. In an interview with the Daily Mail, BLM New York chapter Chairman Hawk Newsome described how the group plans to follow in the footsteps of the Black Panthers Party by matching fire with fire – when necessary.

Watching some stupid transformers movie on TV...

See a commercial from the NBA that says they are against racism, mentions Floyd by name....then the last 2 things it shows:

Black lives matter. NBA.

Will never watch another game. They chose, as a league whose owners coaches and players are all rich from Captialism to excess...to endorse VERY publicly...an openly socialist/marxist/communist organization which states their beliefs and desire to defund the police...ALL OF THEM...proudly on their website for everyone to see.

I like to follow UT players when they get to the league, grow fond of them as Vols.

No more. Never again.

These professional athletes in the NBA and very sadly the NFL as well....will see a mass exodus after all this bullcrap. Spoiled millionaires that get paid as much in a year as the average American earns in 20 years (or a lifetime, depending) think that their place is to tell US what to think and believe .

They need to shut up and dribble.

Same for Hollywood. Shut up and pretend to be someone you're not.

Hopefully many other people like me will teach them this lesson when we stop watching, buying, attending , listening.

What a joke. Oh.....and as we know, BLM is giving all those millions in donations to Actblue....who funnels it directly to Dimwit politicians. This isnt hidden, they are proud to show this on their website.

I am just about done with professional athletes. Altogether.

These race baiters and those that seek to divide this country along racial lines are the enemy to me and my mixed race family. They are also the enemy of any freedom loving Capitalist American, since they openly seek to defund the police and embrace socialism/communism.

Black lives always matter in my family because my 2 little sisters are black. All lives matter, regardless of skin tone , and to think otherwise is for fools. These clowns that constantly stoke the fires of a racism that simply doesn't exist to near the extent that they claim have agendas and ulterior motives. For some, like the Al Sharptons and Jesse Jacksons, it is because for them it is job security. For others, it is a thinly veiled attempt to remove Trump, capitalism,and freedoms from our lives and replace them with Dimwits, communism and dependence on government to control every aspect of our lives. They are proud of this and post these desires directly on their website. It is entirely possible to care greatly about black folks in general, and hate the BLM movement. My entire family are examples of that.

Chicago girl, 13, was dancing with mom when she was killed by stray bullet in home

Authorities said a stray bullet shot from outside their Chicago home hit the girl in the neck.

“She was showing me this dance called TikTok,” Jones’ mother, Lawanda Jones, told WBBM-TV in Chicago. “I turned around and I was looking for her and she was on the ground reaching out like this, holding her neck…The last thought that I have of my baby is her reaching out with blood gushing out her neck.”

She died soon after at the hospital. Two boys, 15 and 16, who were sitting on the porch outside were also wounded in the shooting, according to the Chicago Sun Times.

We’ve had a couple of girls killed in Knoxville this way. BLM never showed up.

This will just continue to be SOP for them. There is zero benefit to BLM, as they see it, to deviate from the racial component narrative. They’ve got politicians, academia and corporations all bowing down now. Why change course?

FWIW, wrt to racism, I was partial witness to something that was pretty disturbing in our neighborhood. There was an AA couple, he was a doctor and she stayed home with the kids. He was very nice and all seemed well at first. His wife, however, started bringing up socially charged issues for discussion at the monthly girl’s Bunco game as well as sending emails and texts to the other women attempting to shame them for essentially not engaging and in her view being disrespectful by not engaging her. Few, if any, engaged other than to say “I’m here to have fun”. Of course several began to distance themselves from this woman. She was intense.

Another couple moved in during this time. This woman was from a Caribbean Island, black, and her husband was white, also a doctor. They became friends with the other couple briefly up until the first woman began saying some pretty nasty things to the woman from the Caribbean about her personal appearance and her interracial marriage. Passive aggressive to blatant, depending on the day.

The straw that broke the camel’s back and ended the friendship was when she told her Caribbean friend “the only reason white men marry black women is because they view them as their whore”. This was said after there had been an incident between two of the kids that apparently escalated to parental involvement. So, I’ve been around a while, but I’m not sure I’ve ever heard anything more racist or hurtful than that. My neighbor and my wife were standing there when it was said at a neighborhood party.
