A majority of Americans believe racism against black people is “widespread” in the United States, a Gallup survey released Friday found.

The survey showed 64 percent of U.S. adults expressing the belief that racism against black people is widespread across the nation, representing a 13 percent uptick from the 51 percent who said the same in 2009 during the first year of Barack Obama’s presidency. That number has continued to increase in the years following, reaching 60 percent in 2015 and 61 percent in 2016.

Eighty-four percent of non-Hispanic black adults say racism against black people is widespread in the country, compared to 72 percent of Hispanic adults and 59 percent of non-Hispanic white adults.

The survey, taken June 1-July 5, 2021, among 1,381 adults, has a margin of error of +/- 3 percent.

When the media beats it down your throat day-in and day-out, it's easy to convince people there is a problem that really doesn't exist.

Chicago really took it personally when Rochester was named America's most violent city.

Chicago violence: 10 dead, 65 shot amid bloody weekend
The left will blame this on one of three things: 1. white people, 2. climate change or 3. the mythical gun store just outside the Chicago city limits. 2 and 3 are blamed on white people, so, to the left, there is only one cause of violence in American cities.

'You earned or inherited your money through oppressing people of color': Affluent Dallas residents receive BLM letter urging them not to send their kids to Ivy League schools so BLACK students can get a spot instead

  • Dallas Justice Now (DJN) is calling on white allies to 'make sacrifices' and sign its 'college pledge' not to send their children to top schools
  • The group said it sent the pledge out to the '95 percent white Highland Park and University Park neighborhoods' and will announce publicly who hasn't signed it
A social justice group has said it sent a letter to white Democrats in two wealthy Texas neighborhoods calling on them to pledge their children will not apply to Ivy League schools so that black students can get a spot instead.

Dallas Justice Now (DJN), which appears to have been set up recently, is asking white allies to commit to 'making sacrifices to correct centuries of injustice.'

The group is specifically calling on people to sign its 'college pledge' not to send their children to Ivy League or US News & World Report Top 50 schools 'and instead leave those spots open for students from Black, LatinX, and other marginalized backgrounds who were denied access to these institutions for hundreds of years.'

Wonder if they realize that an Ivey league education without the upper level contacts means less than a degree from a HBC.
