Butch Jones was able to flip Malik Brown from Syracuse, where he was previously committed, on National Signing Day 2013.

Brown, however, was unable to make an impact as a freshman as he battled through injuries.

It’s unlikely that Brown, who didn’t have a great spring, was going to make much of an impact this year either.

If Brown wasn’t able to crack the rotation of the Vols’ depleted defensive line this season, then it was definitely in his best interest to move on from Tennessee.

The move shouldn’t hurt the Vols too much. The defensive line was going to be in a bad situation anyway. This won’t change that either way.

I think they should handle Kansas today. It's incredible what Fuente has done there.

I don't have any problems rooting for Memphis football (the D'Angelo Williams days were pretty fun), but I hope the basketball side loses every game they play.

Yeah Bowling Green looked as good or better on offense than they did against us last week. Defensively they looked much much better. Almost 700 yards of offense

Will Dino Babers be the next coach at Vandy and bring the Art Briles spread to the SEC? Babers has won at both of the programs he has headed up and at his age would be willing to retire there.
