Maryville High School Playoffs

Colquit is just a junior. They have been playin Buston, a senior in front of him a lot lately. And this team from "BORO" you talk about has played weaker competition than Maryville. Alcoa can beat anyone in the state, even Memphis and Vandy. But according to the 'scouting report' Riverdale doesn't offer maryville anymore of a challenge than anyone else has. Plus if the game is close Maryville has Zach Sharp who has already taken visits to LSU and Alabama as a junior.

Didn't this Colquit get benched earlier in the year?
My buddy works with the punters for MHS.

Speaking of him, I wish the Vols still have walk-on kickers with his talent right about now. He'd be a starter for sure.

But but but, all these mid-state homers have been telling us for years how Maryville could never hang with the big boys from Williamson/Rutherford. Strange how one of the least talented Rebel teams of the decade just handled Riverdale. Too bad they have not always played in the top classification, then Riverdale could claim 2 less titles.
