Incredible. I can't wait to see final stats. Sound like Alcoa just out muscled them. Did they ever throw a pass?

Did you pay attention to football at all while you were at Maryville? You should know by now that as long as GQ is on the sidelines, Maryville has a chance to beat anyone...regardless of talent. Last year's team should have lost four games, but they didn'.t
Alcoa "should have" beaten Maryville several times over the past few years, but they never can seem to pull it off.
I'll never pick against the Rebels in this game...unless a bunch of the team's starters get in trouble for counterfeiting money in the school cafeteria, and have to miss the game. In that case, I might consider Alcoa.

Gee, guess I was right. Who knew I'd know anything about a school I just graduated from and where many of the players are my friends?

Alcoa alumni here. I was a senior last time Alcoa won back in 2000! I can't believe I missed this game to go to the Keith Urban concert!!!

This was a pretty dominant performance by Alcoa, I have to say. Maryville simply had no answer for the Alcoa dive play and physical style. If Maryville hadn't been fortunate and had the ball basically handed to the young DT #72 early in the first half, this game was going to be ugly early. Alcoa had an impressive running game, but Maryville had a ton of heart and honestly with Coach Quarles on the sideline this team will get better, they simply have one of the best coaches in high school football. Found one thing odd, Tyler Robinson has fantastic hands and was non-existent in the passing game after the Tornadoes used him on the drag route to great success last season. Good game, and by Maryville standouts a blow-out late, but all in all I'll be back to Maryville next year.

:mega_shok: Bet you feel like this!
You missed it. The 2000 game was a little better just for the simple fact that it was at Maryville.
