The last I recall, it was stated that Jannah Tucker was at about 75% and that the expectation was that she would be prepared to hit the court some time in November. Since then there have been comments, as recent as two weeks ago, that she has not been cleared for full contact. Given that, I would not be surprised if the November date were to be slipped.

We'll just have to wait, with our sense of anticipation intact, for the trainer to release Jannah Tucker!

I can't imagine how excited she must be to get back out there on the court!! I was reading an article where it stated that she potentially could be the best shooter and defender on the team..I don't want to get to ahead of myself, but that's certainly exciting..her play might mean the difference between a final four or not

Do you believe that players being disciplined for not going to class is a negative or a positive in recruiting. One hypothesis on he timing of the announcement and the resulting publicity was to influence parents of athletes considering universities. And for all the positive reasons as other boarders have stated - the standards for academics at UTN basketball players are high.

Maybe if they weren't forced to do all those cheesy promotions for UT and publicity crap they could make it to class and have time to be a real student?

Let em play, Coach..... :(

I think it's good that holly has rules, but sometimes things happen and you have to miss class. I don't see it as a major issue as long as it's not something that becomes habitual.

that's true, evidently they didn't meet CHWs reasons for missing classes or being late or sitting in the first 3 rows lol

Holly said in her news conference January wanted to give more time that she was competing in practice. She has to sit out two games so hopefully we start counting before January.

Interestingly, Mickey Dearstone, in his pregame show said that hopefully we would see Jannah Tucker before the end of the month.

This from a man who obviously has access to some inside information. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.
