Matt Schaub to Texans

I consider Carr pretty lucky to leave Houston. He's been sacked 249 times in 5 years. I think he's a decent qb and has never had any offensive firepower to show just how good he is.

Andre Johnson and Domanick Davis are/were good and Eric Moulds was there last year, but weapons aren't necessarily the problem.

It's their terrible offensive line.

The Falcons draft Stanton in second round

The word is that the Falcons will go sign a veteran to compete with DJ Shockley for the backup job. The deal also includes the Falcons flip flopping 1st round picks with the Texans, so they would move up to the 8th overall pick.

Perhaps the Falcons could package their newly acquired 2nd round pick with the 8th pick, move up and get Calvin Johnson? That would leave Vick without excuses

Not a bad idea but I don't really see it happening, we have way to many holes to give up all our picks...I gotta believe we will target Landry from LSU in round 1 and then take an O-lineman withe at least one of the 2nd round picks...

Landry would probably be the best pick for the Falcons. Maybe Gaines Adams if he's still around but I doubt he will be.

I would like to see them get some line help on the o or d line. The depth chart has two no names at left DE.

Kind of reminds me of that Brett whats his name they drafted many years ago. What ever happened to that guy?

Maybe with the new staff in place they will draft a good offensive lineman early. I think the last OL Coach prefered no-names that he could "mold" to his liking instead of getting players with talent.
