Matt Schlapp Accused of Groping ... A Man

It's not a lame whataboutism when it's the truth.
Democrats are hypocrites, sure. But they’re not wrong here. Republicans/conservatives act pretty piously when sticking their noses into the private lives of others then get all uppity when their own bad behavior gets put in the spotlight.

Matt Schlapp is asserting his innocence. He claims that he is getting a raw deal, and he says that this whole thing has rubbed him the wrong way. He is bent out of shape, but trying to maintain his standing as a pillar of the Republican Party.

Nice job. The only thing I can think of that you might have added would be "his pride took a beating"

This is a fair critique. It was one I was hoping that @evillawyer would have given for her reasoning behind pointing out that the person being groped was a man.

Deep down, I know damn well why EL mentioned the "victim" being a man. Because in her mind she knows that it is perverse for a man to grope another man. Not saying groping a woman isn't worthy of condemnation. I'm simply saying that there are levels and degrees to certain things and we can call EL out whenever she goes and attempts to defend a drag queen show or some woke LGBTQI+ nonsense.

Right, EL know all too well that it's worse. he has to deal with his conscience in a daily basis.

I guess you never got the message that Slo Jo killed the #metoo movement
There were women saying they didn't care if Joe did sexually assault that woman in a stairwell, they would still vote for Biden.

I don't know any conservatives or Republicans who stick their noses in other people's business as much as democrats do.

I know it's going back 25 years ... but Republicans impeached a President over what amounted to consensual sex between two adults.

The LGBTQ community says hi.
... and didn't Republicans try to make an issue out of the contents of Ashley Biden's personal diary near the end of the 2020 Presidential Election campaign? Ashley Biden is seldom even seen. She is not a public figure at all. The premise of the @DonjoVol post reflects a lack of self-awareness.

Since the founding of "The Moral Majority" the Republican Party has been pre-occupied with sex and making salacious allegations against their opponents. The George W. Bush campaign accused John McCain of fathering a black child before the 2000 Republican Primary in South Carolina.

All of this coming from the man who was recently obsessed with Herschel Walker's private life.

LOL.

Whenever major party nominees for high public office are caught lying about the number of kids they have, or if they have taken hard line stances against abortion, without exceptions made for rape or incest, and then it's later revealed that they paid for an abortion themselves? That will invite scrutiny into those private aspects of their lives. That is nothing new either. Everyone makes mistakes, and people can change their ways, but nobody likes dishonesty or hypocrisy.

Around 30% vote Republican. What's your point?
You say that as if it somehow absolves the GOP from being just as meddlesome in people’s private lives. There are plenty of gun owners who vote for democrats.

Nobody likes dishonesty or hypocrisy? Lol. This coming from the guy who admitted to voting for Joe Biden. Who else have democrats put up on a pedestal in recent years. Let's see. Michael Avenatti, Andrew Cuomo, Andrew Gillum, Cal Cunningham. That's just a short list. And of course Warnock who was every bit as bad as you claim Walker is. If you really don't like dishonesty and hypocrisy then it's probably time you find a new political party to support.

There are plenty of democrats who advocate for mass censorship and taking away the second amendment for example. That's also meddling in people's private lives.
