Maya Moore falls short... Chamique's record stands

Generally true...but not in the tournament. D was sloppy and porous, combined with average O, they were sent packing.

It should not take televised half time pep talks by Pat to lite a fire...this team seemed to need that.

Agree. Glad someone else can see objectively what happened. Although screaming and trying to put the fear of God into players might work sometimes is that all Pat has left in her arsenal? Don't get me wrong, I'm a Lady VOL supporter all the way, but it seems a coach shouldn't have to do that after every half-time. I just don't think there must have been enough emphasis placed on D all season for them to look that bad in the tournament. Summit's teams used to blow teams out and with all of the talent she has, that's not possible? This team was way too complacent to only be up a bucket or two and cruise along. Hopefully the new incoming freshmen can bring some Meighan Simmons' passion for playing hard every possession.

Maybe you need more knowledge about basketball before you help Pat.

How about taking your orange-colored glasses off once in awhile? I certainly don't see any advice you have; guess you were satisfied with the result.

BigPapaVol is right, this could get pretty bad next year without a dominant 3 point specialist.

This may answer that question. We still have three that can hit the 3 ball. Not like Angie, but hopefully, either between the three or one steps up. Simmons, Strick and Spani.

The fact is that you hammer at your point a little much, like it's a revelation.. Don't you know that Pat recognizes this problem? Of course she does, but she can't get on the court and execute for them. And consider that more teams have talented players and the competition is stronger - when else has the final not included a number one seed? Pat has always stressed defense and still does. Who else could hold Stanford under 50 points in the 2008 tournament?
