Maybe I'm missing something

Remember, this is the same network that gave espy awards to Michael Sam and Bruce Jenner. And going to give one to Mizzou for protesting false information.

I believe they're low because its mostly 3* recruits. If we miss out on some of the higher rated guys that were after then we Will be hurting IMO. I mean what are the chances of having a class of "Cam Sutton's"? Not very likely IMO. Maybe one or two yeah but we just better hope that we land most of the higher rated guys that we're after. But then again maybe all of our current commits will get a considerable bump if they ball out. We will just have to wait and see.

247 likes the class better but their 86.67 avg rating that UT's commits have now would land the Vols between 15-20.

It is humorous to see it unfold. Most pointed to the average star rating last class as a bit smaller class and that 14th ranking wasn't accurate. "You gotta look at the average star rating, that's a better indicator". 89 last year. With that 86 this year, most are resorting back to pointing to class ranking again.

And then you have the crap on everything crowd that does the opposite.
All relative I guess.

You guys are paranoid

I'm not. The class could be ranked #40 for all I care. If the staff takes their guys and wins the ranking won't matter anyway. They want to take a 3* over a 4*? Go for it. I'm a believer that you don't have to be top 5-10 every year in recruiting to win.

I'm referring to the constant chant of "ESPN hates us".

ESPN is a political network. Occasionally they show sporting events to boost ratings.

ESPN is owned by ABC, ABC's new president is Channing Dungey, Dungey cancelled "Nashville", Nashville is in Tennessee. Confirmed ESPN hates Tennessee

There may be something to the frequent complaint about "ESPN hating us." Below are our current recruiting class rankings. Which one stands out?

Scout #7
Rivals #5
247 Sports #7
Teamrankings.com #9
ESPN #20 (and that appears to be updated and includes this weekend's recruits)

It's June!

Off-season gonna off-season! :good!:

I love listening to Clay. A lot of people hate him, but I don't really care. He is entertaining and isn't afraid to fire back at the trolls which is hilarious. Of all things Clay Travis is, he is not boring.
