But we have more choices so our numbers are spread out. All the conservatives flock to Fox while liberals watch everything from Katie Couric to Anderson Cooper to Keith Olbermann. If two or three more conservative news channels came out than I bet MSNBC and Fox News would have similar ratings. Actually, most liberals would rather watch Two and a Half Men than news so Fox would probably still win.
What does everyone think of Joe Scarborough? I know he is a former GOP Representative but he is on MSNBC so do you think he is their version of Alan Comes or do you like him? I watch Morning Joe and I really like that show, he seems pretty fair to me.
I take it for what it is. I agree with you that some people take it too seriously but there is a lot of misleading information floating around, not just on Comedy Central. Every ad that Obama and McCain put out gets debunked by fact check it seems. The right really needs their own satire show to make it even but you guys are too serious all the time. It would get horrible ratings.
too many sacred cows in the whiny, let's save the world liberal ideology. Those liberals who currently cry racism at the very sound of welfare reform just couldn't accept it.I think the SNL skit posted in another thread is an example of how you can satirize both sides. The Daily Show is 90% satirization of republican/conservative views and ideology. They could easily double their material if they could open their minds are realize the comedy in democratic/liberal ideology.
