MAYS The MVP?

Yeah it's definitely night and day when he's out there. He's critical for the offense to operate like it should.

It absolutely helped. Nobody ever talks about line calls and protections, but that's probably the quickest way to get an offense to work. Still hard to say though how good South Carolina really is.

Joe was very complimentary of him. He said Cooper "knows all the plays" and can make changes real time to adjust to the defensive look. I sure hope we're working hard on finding someone to replace him.

And 3 points the second half. Let’s not act like if our offense is clicking it’s not gonna score more than 29 points. Our defense did put us in a bad position for the second half. But they came through and gave us a solid chance to come back and I’d say if it weren’t for our offensive line and the refs we should’ve done so. We drove down the field too many times with too little points. We do need to work on getting 7 when we’re in the red zone.

I am just glad he has another 2 weeks to recover after getting a win in conference play. I expect the offense to take another step in the right direction as they get ready for the aggies. GBO!

Conversely, If the Offense stays on the field and scores, the Defense does a better job . It's a hand in hand deal. Like Saturday. Since Joe is the Triggerman, and Mays gives him a comfort level, I'd say Mays' Impact is immeasurable.

Mays is definitely a difference maker for our offense. He gets us in the right protection, has good snaps allowing Joe to get to focus downfield instead of trying to catch a snap and does a great job blocking. Things definitely seemed to click better and you can't underscore the importance of having a great center and what it does for an offense. Hoping he stays healthy the remainder of the year.

I've always believed he was the key to the offensive line. That SCe game should have given them a lot of confidence. We ran the ball whenever we wanted to. Nice job big guys.

I would be ok with that. Remember Mincey was out too that game. Both in there is a different outcome. Sampson and Squirrel will get their MVPs and perhaps Wright at some point. Walker had a great game. Was proud of our secondary against USC!

I think we’ll know more after A&M. A&M is at least more talented.
