I'd feel better about Paq winning if this was taking place years ago.
As long as Paq gets the W, I don't care though. I'm glad all of the heavyweights have been calling out Mayweather. I've been calling him out for about a decade as I think his style of fighting sucks and his matches blow. I hope Paq beats Dodger to a pulp. Should be Mayweather's nickname as the mf'er successfully managed to dodge all of the top fighters in their prime. I wish boxing was like other sports where the top teams/people were guaranteed a shot at each other for the title as opposed to fighters/managers being able to dictate the path they take their entire career.
As someone else mentioned, Holyfield/Tyson is one of the last things I saw. I stopped watching boxing after that era not long after Lennox Lewis retired and Klitchko won the title. Maybe if there had been better fighters for the Klitchko brothers as I actually liked them and didn't like Lewis at all, I would have continued watching. I was definitely hoping Tyson whooped Lewis's ass but Tyson looked terrible. Getting battered up against the ropes and clinging onto Lewis for dear life.
Anyways, after this fight, maybe boxing as a whole can RIP rather than just the heavyweight division. As someone who no longer has any interest in boxing other than seeing Mayweather's streak go down, there's nothing left for me to watch. I get the feeling it's that way for a lot of people. So many people who don't even watch boxing anymore will most likely never tune into another boxing match again after this. Especially if Mayweather's streak comes to an end and or he retires undefeated. Watching his streak (despite his fights not being exciting imo) is about the only exciting thing left in boxing.
