Mcbee and Pearl

He may be on a roll the last couple of games, but it wouldn't kill McBee to take a few more short to mid-range jumpers. All the kid seems to do is throw up threes, and usually clunks a ton of them.

McBee doesn't take a lot of short range jumpers because he isn't quick enough to get to the middle of the lane and will likely get the ball stolen by more athletic defenders if he does attempt to move away from the perimeter. Maybe if our coaches brought big guys out to the perimeter and set picks for him, then that would free him up to take jump shots. Also, he shoots about 33 percent from the 3 point line for his career, which isn't a bad average, so I think he should keep throwing up 3's.

It wasn't a bad average for wayne chism, but that is supposed to be McBee's specialty.

The play of Pearl & McBee does not hurt this team. Tatum & Goins not stepping up hurts this team.

This. Pearl plays solid D and McBee has been shooting very well as of late. It is hard to come off the bench and be consistent. A shooter has to get into a rhythm. I think McBee has finally found his.

You are correct as far as last night's game goes. Tatum was a complete non-factor and Goins did not have a good game. They clearly know Pearl is in the game for defense, although he did actually score last night. I believe Tony Jones was correct in telling McBee to shoot the ball, when open, and that he is in the game because he is supposed to be a shooter. He's trying to give him confidence and it appears to be working, for now.

I agree Mcbee will get his touch with time and once he gets it in his head with every shot he takes, that he will hit it. Its a lot of confidence. But to the point of the topic I agree they all shouldn't be out there at once. Mix them up is fine they all do a good job. We just don't need a bunch of ppl who can't go out there and make plans on their own if need be. They are all pieces in the game not the piece put togetherer haha =P
