i hope you do not include the current president.

I absolutely include the current President. Forget the fact that he's uninspriring and makes me cringe every time I see him speak in public . . . he did at least give us John Roberts and Samuel Alito.

Two comments about that video.

1) It appears the number of commentators discussing the media's so-called love affair with Obama far outnumber those actually fawning over Obama. Absent Chris Matthews and one NBC reporter I've never heard of, there were zero examples.

2) The video violates a basic marketing principle: don't advertise for your competitor, especially on your own website. This does absolutely nothing to help McCain. He's not attacking Obama (which might not be a bad strategy for him); he's simply pointing out some great things reporters have to say about his candidate (none of which they say about him).

The McCain camp might want to consult the Daily Show next time they put together a video about the media.

Them doing this for Obama is akin to turning on your sprinkler during a hurricane.

If you want to hear examples of the media's love affair with The Obaminator, then listen to talk radio. Rush, Hannity, Levin et all play clips from various media outlets proving it. Maybe you should be open mided and give them a listen.

No thanks. I can get my entertainment from more entertaining sources.

It's absolutely ridiculous that the media loves Obama so much. It's obvious that they're in the tank for him -- just like they were in the tank for John Kerry and Al Gore. I mean, they absolutely love all Democrats. Did you all see all the fawning they did over Bill Cinton? And before that? They LOVED Michael Dukakis. Everyone knows that they hate Republicans. They hated Reagan. They hated George H. W. Bush and really hated George W. Bush. I mean, remember when President Bush landed on that aircraft carrier and declared "Mission Accomplished" that was so awesome, yet it didn't receive any positive press coverage. In fact, most news organizations ignored it. If it weren't for Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, or the Drudge Report, most Americans wouldn't even know it happened. Why is that? Because "the media" hates Republicans -- and don't even get me started on that liberal fascist, Rupert Murdoch.

:ermm: What channel are you watching? And the fact that Bushs' approval ratings are burning to the ground, is because nobody likes his ass anymore. Sheesh, get a grip

What's so accomplished about staying in a war for years where more and more American soldiers die? Accomplished would mean, winning a war and getting the hell out of Dodge, don't you think? Maybe I'm crazy

I hardly watch the news, I'm sick of seeing the same BS. A bunch of rich guys in ties getting paid millions for talking doesn't entertain me

Dude, we haven't won the war yet. Leaving = Losing! Have you not been listening to President Bush. He says that if we leave Iraq the terrorists will follow us home. Do you really want that to happen?? It's best for everyone involved that we keep our military over there indefinitely so that we make sure the terrorists don't follow us home, or at least until we defeat their asses.

In my mind, those appoval ratings are wrong because those polls are conducted by the liberal press. Everyone I know loves George W Bush. But even if those polls were right, it's not President Bush's fault that everyone hates him, it's the liberal media's fault (especially Rupert Murdoch and his commie friends)

btw, i get most of my news from AOL and FreeRepublic.com

Yes because everything Bush has told us is true so far! :lolabove:

The only thing Bush has proven to me is that he is a liar, and an idiot

You don't find a rambling millionare who is never wrong (O'Reilly) boring and just aggravating?

I sure do . . . but I'm not sure what exactly his being a millionaire has to do with whether or not he is annoying.
