McCain's health is a serious concern (again)

I agree that Obama is the probably the most inexperienced presidential candidate in my lifetime. That's not surprising considering he is only 47 years old. He was very smart to pick a Washington veteran like Joe Biden in the event he were unable to fulfill his duties. I wish John McCain had been that smart -- considering he is the one most likely to have his VP need to step in.

Why is that a good thing?

He was a US Senator of the 9th largest state in the union. He had over 8 million constituents. Besides, Kerry did not have nearly the same health risks that McCain does. McCain will be the oldest president elected to a first term. And he has a history of skin cancer. I'd say his VP is very important. Are you all really happy with his potential replacement? Don't you think Romney or Ridge or Lieberman would be better?

What is your obsession the number of people you govern?

You are either a leader or you are not.

the sad part is the VP can't be stepping in for Obama for incompetence. There a better chance of that happening if Obama's elected than McCain dying

It's not just about leadership, it's about executive experience at managing constituents, staff, budgets, and complex systems. It should come as no surprise that the degree of difficulty increases in direct proportion to population. It's really quite simple (or complex).

Leadership has every thing to do with it.

It is that simple, either she can lead or she cannot lead.

Difficulty does not mean numbers, the small town job can be just as stressful and complex and one in a large city.

The basics always stay the same.
