What's he gonna say? He couldn't beat Butch so live vicariously through McElwain? Life champions is dum however, Spurrier is not a life champion anyways. What he is.... Is a quitter. He must have been a motivational speaker for Jalen Hurd.

Seriously Swamp Donkey is really starting to sound Kiffin-esque. "They got what they deserved"? I'll take a gracious sounding coach 10 out of 10 times. No reason to give the media their sound bites. I know our fans hate Jones coach speak but I think that's how a head coach should act. Leave the trash talk to the fans where it belongs.

When I saw the topic, I assumed he was directing the comment toward UT for missing the title game. Was prepared to completely agree. Now that I find its LSU being referenced, I still find myself thinking UT also got what they deserved. We had our chances. One less turnover vs aTm or coming to play...just a little...vs USC and we'd be in Atlanta. The fact that we might actually get to the sugar bowl blows my mind. When I consider the likely opposition vs our defense.....I cringe at the thought. Still, history is a great teacher. Vandy looms larger than usual. Still a big hurdle to clear. Said it before....water seeks its own level. UT will, too. Should be interesting to see it play out.

He's actually right. UF didn't win the SEC East. We lost it. UF was terrible last year and this year. But beating UF sure was great this year.

Let's just beat Vandy and not let SC beat us twice.....!

Meh...LSU's AD gave the media plenty of sound bytes leading up to the game. Guice gave the media plenty of sound bytes this past week. Fournette goes after one of our assistant coaches before the game.

Swap the circumstances surrounding the original cancellation...if the situation was reversed this place would be praising LSU for a gutsy road win and blasting everyone at UF for talking trash...from the backup tailback to the AD.

LSU played the heavy throughout, and they got what they deserved.

BOTH sides did a bit too much jawing I think in this whole ordeal. When UF won the game they just just have left it at that in my opinion. But it's just that. My opinion

Mac can do a lot for himself with a win this week

Beating fsu and lsu for the first time since 2012 on the road would be HUGE esp after that Arkansas disaster

And even tho I wouldn't feel much better about winning we could go into the Bama game on a solid winning streak with confidence knowing we can win as underdogs

I think FL might shut down FSU. I truly hope they somehow rise above all odds and screw Bama over in humiliating fashion.

It seems to be very generational, but my hate for bama is a raging torrent while my disdain for FL is just a drop in the bucket.

The east needs to get a win in this game eventually it's just getting embarrassing I mean 2008 is a long time ago and at the moment the wests domination doesn't look like it's gonna end any time soon at least as long as it's Bama in the way
