Shirley, I should get a few likes for that one?

The last 2 Florida teams have probably been the worst teams to ever appear in a SEC championship game. The East is bad bad bad, but Georgia is starting to get me a little worried.

Because he knows it was blind luck 2 weeks in a row. His reaction when KY missed the FG, he hung his head and looked sad he just won. First words in post game we're apologizing to the heart broken fans. I thought he was gonna cry also. Ha. Guess he feels bad for stealing.

Confirmed to me that God is a gator fan. :hi:

Fl fans want championships too.

The question is, how many times will he win the east before he gets fired?

Smart money says 2.

Met a player's Dad this morning.

He likes Butch.

No way Florida fires him after going to Atlanta for theb3rd straight year. I give him 5 years of 5 East tiles and no SEC titles before he’s on a hot seat.

He was bailed out last year by the impotentbrain Greg Sankey and this yr by SEC refs. Holding call vs Ky last night wasn't any worse than the non-hold call on Kongbo. One not called, one called. Both went Gators way.

No doubt about it. It was definitely a hold, but they swallowed the whistle on the same kind of call the week before.

Or maybe they just did not see it

If they didn't see that then 2 things disqualify or more egregious a third. 1) Vision problems 2) Refs aren't supposed to be caught in the moment of a play. Only watching their assigned duties on the field. 3) actively purposely pulling the right strings for a team you want to win.

But to give benefit of the doubt that the ref didn't see it when it happened clearly in front of him when that was his assigned area to monitor? I refuse to believe that.

Holding on UK last night was much worse.

Had Taylor followed up his tug on Kongbo's jersey with a takedown last week, then I would agree with you.

5 ass rapings from bama before he's on the seat? Lol ya right

Fla used to win in Atlanta on a semi regular basis no reason to put up with that bull**** for 5 years

The fans aren't that far removed from spurrier Meyer years where they're just happy to be there

He had just stolen a game from a team and fan base that wanted the win very badly.

Kentucky could and should have won that game and if the holding call had not been made on the next to last play, Kentucky would have won.

I personally appreciate his empathy and think he is very sincere. And you don't hear a lot of fake coach speak coming out of his mouth. He was lucky and he knew it and felt like he was stealing. I like him and wish he was our coach. Did you notice the offence they were running in the fourth quarter? I wish we had some of that!

You know what else would have won the game for UK? Not letting UF score 2 TDs without even covering the WR.

The holding call sucked but what lost the game for UK was not slamming the door shut. How many times did we learn in the Fulmer years that kicking FGs instead of TDs against UF usually means an L?

Exactly right. Florida fans are not going to be happy with just winning the SEC East. Any more than Tennessee fans were happy when Fulmer went to several SECCGs without winning.

Although I gather that today, UT fans might be happy to just be there.

One good thing to take away from the game was Malik Davis and Kadarius Toney looking like future stars again this week

Need to get Davis 20 carries a game and Toney at least 10-15 touches

Can't believe they never let Toney try the wildcat again in the redzone after he ripped off a 30+ yarder

Kid just looks smooth with the ball in his hands like Percy did and that 50 yard completion to Cleveland was nice I'd put Toney in at quarterback over Zaire

Whatever special kind of luck Les Miles had seems to have transferred to McElwain. McElwain reminds me a lot of Butch too, except McElwain wins games he should not instead of losing games he shouldn't.

He probably sold his soul to luck out as much as he has already this year.
