He looks like the second-coming of Clowney - only in the right uniform this time.
SEC offenses are shuddering at the thought of the upcoming UT defense.

You are so right. Butch Jones is bringing the players to put us back on top.

You know your program is on the upswing when opposing fans talk crap by saying that your number one-rated recruit is only number one on one recruiting service...

Great to have Khalil onboard but we need to be realistic in our expectations (I really didn't just type that on VN did I). He is a HS school senior going against other (top rated) high school seniors. Will he have that kind of success against SEC college seniors who have been in a top S&C for 4 to 5 years? Probably not (at least freshman year) but we can hope so. Let's not put too much pressure on him at first.
With his outgoing personality I see him being a team leader and by at least year 2 after spending time with Dave Lawson he will most likely be in beast mode.
Having said all this, I hope he is freshman All SEC and Freshman All American. GBO and go Khalil.

They have little in common as players except they both play defense and their both good.

"At 6-foot-4, 341 pounds, the big tackle is an absolute load in the middle and combines incredible raw power, violent hands, advanced technique and plus athleticism as well."

We haven't had a kid like this in Knoxville in ages. It wouldn't shock me one bit if he becomes a starter as a freshman.

Not disputing anything you said but I did read an article recently about his strength.... He so strong and muscular the article said that he may need to modify his workouts to keep from getting too big and too muscular..,. Which can have some point impede his quickness and overall agility.... At least that's what the article said... So I don't think strength will be an issue....

It's a little messed up that Rivals has KM at 4* and QD at 2*. I usually just check Rivals(free). I don't check each site religiously.
I know "star ratings" are subjective, but Rivals seems to vary way off sometimes.

I think they are less likely to have a knee jerk reaction.

Were there any games played by the linemen? No. KM may very well be #1, but the season will reveal that, not a skills competition.

Dormady didn't even play his Junior year. His ranking will balance out if he has a good year.

Barring injury I would be shocked if Dormady isn't a universal 4 star by signing day. There is a reason why Bama wanted him as much as they did.

Thx. That makes sense. I assumed as much with Dormandy, but was still confused about KM.

Thx. No doubt Dormandy will be ranked 4*. I believe he is great otherwise CBJ wouldn't have offered. I am ignorant in which recruiting site is more accurate, so I pick up info here and there.

You're right. I saw that he is very strong but I was also thinking about conditioning and the longer season and greater competition he will have to deal with in college. Wonder if they will want him to lose a few pounds and run a lot more. Anyway hope he has a spectacular career at UT and then the NFL if he wants. GBO

#1 overall

Was there any question after he slammed bammer's O-line commit on National TV! Dude is a beast and he just proved it over some of the so called best O-lineman in the country.

Congrat's Kahlil can't wait to see you in Orange. We've got a list of dill holes from Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Vandy, USCjr, UK, Missouri.....that are way overdue from some Orange crush!
