are we seem to be taking less rated guy earlier (with less strong offer lists), vs closing/waiting on higher rated dudes.

Really gotta question taking these dudes this early?

They have a winning record over IMG.
And they have been sending guys all over the country.

They have lots of major prospects but nothing like IMG which is what I implied. It was a positive not a criticism so not sure of your point. But no one has IMG talent at this point.

Feels like the last commit.

He now has 6 Blueblood offers and 5 of them (minus us, earlier offer) have come just since September.

This time last year he was rated an 84. Now an 88...

High quality offers...on the rise...
For comparison:

He is #17 in Maryland composite...the #16 and #18 prospects out of Maryland have 6 blueblood offers combined...the same as this guy alone.

His trajectory and offers say soon to be 4*.

Dig deeper and relax

A PSU offer does nothing for me. USC offer is solid.

Penn St, the program who finished 1 spot behind us last season, and has 4 top-10 finishes in the last 7 years? Wow tough crowd. That isn't good enough to consider their offer very valuable?

But USC, who hasn't finished top-10 in 7 years, is?

Jmo but both are top notch offers. Only difference is PSU offers 360+. USC offers closer to 250+. Though neither has shiz on us offering 480+ a year 🤣 Got a HUGE net baby 😂

Part of the situation when you have 400 offers out I suppose.

Will this staff make offers, but not allow commitments? Or stick to their offer? Or take a commitment and then push them out later? Idk to be honest.

it just seems odd after 11-2 season, to take lesser rated guys when you're in on cream of the crop.

just interesting.

folks never learn

We go through this every yr. I remember last yr when everyone was like "is Leacock even any good? He's rated an 88, Gotta question this commitment" and then he ended up a top 100 player overall when the dust settled. Not saying this kid is that but look at the offer sheet. Thats what matters and he has a good one.
