Us not attracting d-line transfers with Garner here is 100% the most mystifying aspect of this offseason.

I'm by no means a recruiting expert but I think what we are seeing is a player enters the portal then some one posts about the here then when he goes somewhere else we get upset. I don't think we have gone super hard at many defensive portal players yet.

With May 1 transfer portal deadline coming, going to be lots more to chose from. They may be a better fit for what RG is looking for.

Yes he did. There's still a numbers crunch and they had to see how many guys we'd lose for available spots.

I like it. Let others fill up their classes. Evaluate what you have after spring practice. Then evaluate who is I the portal that could help where you desperately need help.

Numbers as mentioned is one thing (major thing) but the other, that can’t be discounted, is cultural fit. Got to think coaches are going to dig deeply into why a player is transferring. When your rebuilding the dumpster fire we became, the type of player you have is maybe more important than the talent alone a player possesses.
