Meacham to Buffalo? (nope)

Gotta ask:

Brandon Marshall just got traded to the Bears...obviously that effects the Peyton/Miami situation, but the question is, how?

Did they get rid of him because Peyton knows he's a cancer in the system, and now they can make a move on Reggie Wayne (package). Or does this mean the Peyton deal to Miami talk is OVER?

$ $ and he may want to follow in the footsteps of Pearless Price?????? Rather than be behind Colston, and Devrie Henderson and two tight ends, he will be the second receiver in that offense. The primary receiver will be the receiver from University of Kentucky. I forgot his name but he is a big mouth fellow who always runs his mouth. Kinda like T.O. & Ocho.
He runs his mouth but he missed a game winning t.d. against Pittsburgh and afterwards, he was speechless.
That shut him up!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I understand wanting to leave the Saints to be a 1 or 2. But Buffalo? They probably offered the most money but I'm sure he had better football options.

Who says he cares more about the football options than the money options?

Glad he's getting paid. Hope he doesn't mind never being heard from again.

Man I wish him the best but Buffalo is just not a good place to go. He may not have been hearing from many teams. Interesting how they set up the plane ride so that it arrives mins after 4pm so they can sell him for a few hrs then not let him think about it or even see how crappy the town is. Impressive move.

No reason to hate the Bills so wish them the best of luck.

Good point. I would care more but the average professional athlete? Not so much.

He was already a first round pick in the draft and he has already won the Super Bowl, so at this point, it may be about being paid or about being a #1 or #2 receiver, so he can make a pro bowl.

This could be one reason he is leaving...

Adam Schefter ‏ @AdamSchefter

First reported by @JayGlazer, Saints re-signed WR Marques Colston to a five-year deal worth close to $40 million, inc $19 million gtd.
