Haha, that's pretty cool. Yeah, the only mall around here is 45 mins away in Paducah.

I'm a Vols fan trapped in Murray, KY. Hopefully I'll be on my way to Knoxville, or somewhere else in my homestate of Tennessee soon.

tclowers its not really that hard to get into UTK...........i only had 21 on act and a 3.2 gpa in highschool....i shouldnt have said thats all it did for me bc really it is a good institute, but unfortunatly i decided to party too much, so now im stuck in a junior college in ohio, but i will be back, its hard growing up in south whole life then trying to live with a bunch of big ten fans, gosh i hate but i did turn my gf out and EVERY once a while you see a orange hat and i instantly approach that person

I know exactly what you mean about living with Big 10 fans. I lived in Indiana for a while, and that's how it is there. At least down here in Murray there's SEC fans. People up north just don't understand SEC dominance.

no im right in the middle of michigan osu and ND fans I HATE IT they think they are better conf as whole, i even had one tell me Northwestern could compete with us, i think i fell on ground laughing.......i was at guy i just mets house the other day and played rocky top people looked at me like a i was retarted or something

it was kind of culture shock for me, everyone up here seems like their always in a hurry.......sometimes i even have to get on my gf (her family is DIE HARD ND fans) to slow down which by the way i had her wearing Tennessee on sat, her dad said it was first time he has ever seen her wear anything other then ND on sat, and she even knows rocky top, nothing sexier

It doesn't matter who the Vols are playing. Even if they're playing Ball State... if it's in Knoxville, the atmosphere will still be amazing.

That reminds me... my wife has never been to a Vols game. Hopefully we'll be able to make it to one this season.

I took my g/f to the UAB game last year (she was enrolled there at the time). Now she's mad at me b/c I can't get her a ticket to a big game like Florida or 'bama. :wacko:

i did the same thing last year too...i took my wife and her family, who are from Pittsburgh, and had never been to a "real" college football game, to the Memphis game...

i have the same problem this year....i get asked "what game are we going to this year? we want to go to a conf. game".

jeez.

I told her I'd buy an excess student ticket for the Marshall game... or scalp her one at kickoff, would be even cheaper.
