Just got back from visiting last week. Downtown has really changed a lot in the last couple of years.

yeah, a college friend is on whatever that downtown board is called. He's part of the group wanting to rename it "Appalachian Highlands". I think it sounds goofy. Downtown is really cleaning up nice though. Hope it continues to flourish. Did you eat at any of the places? Southern Craft is pretty good. As is Label. The pizza places (Scratch and Main St) are both good too. I still prefer Greg's though.

Love southern craft and Main Street. Heard that Main Street May be closed for good, though. Scratch is solid. Frieberg’s is my guilty pleasure. Also hit up the new cootie browns next to campus while I was in. Go burrito was good.
