She is a freaking joke and all about her own personal attention getting.....Looking past the whole dropping the flag on the ground incident (don't get me started on that) today's "Victory Parade" was about nothing but her and some other team members own personal political agenda. They took every chance they had to promote the equal pay stance and bash Trump. Then she is on stage acting like a drunk Miley Cyrus. She is a disgrace to the US and I know not all of the team is like her and the other few but I honestly can't remember ever having so much dislike for a US team and that's sad.

I come down a little on both sides of the fence with her and the soccer team. I have absolutely nothing wrong with what she’s saying or the stand she has taken.

I do think there’s a difference in platform. If she was using a platform supported by a private entity, such as a professional team, or her own time, then have at it.

However, as a member of a US national team, I think she would’ve been better advised to have been at least neutral during the World Cup. “I have many views and opinions on those topics, but right now I’m here with my teammates to try and win the World Cup for the United States.”

Maybe some would’ve seen it as a cop-out. But I imagine she would have overall gained a larger audience to her cause.

If she angers you and you give her attention, who is responsible for your anger?
I don’t think he has the power to blast her image and interview all over the place.

I have zero interest in women’s soccer, yet my feeds have been inundated with this ****. I’d love to never see another thing about women’s soccer, or soccer in general, much less that Meghan what’s her name.

Some of you guys (not all) are like dinosaurs walking blindly into the tar pits.
The PF may be 85% older conservative white men, but the country is anything but; and the percentages are changing rapidly and dramatically.
The fans of the US women's team are the future.
The detractors are the past.

Who has a problem with the US Women's team? The people who have a problem with her have it for one specific reason and its not who she chooses to have sex with.

There is no one on the team who has disagreed with her opinions and many who have publicly supported them.

You (and he) are in control of your feeds. Sometimes it is helpful to take a break from your media.

Idk but you could just focus on her team mate who picked up the flag. She is at least good looking and a positive story. No idea about her sexuality so maybe that's still an issue for you.

Her action of picking up the flag was much more significant IMO than the others dropping it. Dont think it was dropped on purpose, just caught up in the moment of celebration
