Kiper makes perfect sense to me.

K: Tim, NFL Quarterback is a flip basically a flip of a coin for kids coming out. Payton Manning had critics. OK A lot of people did not think that Peyton Manning was going to be a great NFL quarterback. OK. So that tells you all you need to know. I just think what you do, what you do so well, running with the ball, powering your way, you see the wildcat formation in the NFL these days, you see the ability of other kids who have made the move from quarterback to wide receiver, you are just to good with the ball in your hands to not to think automatically……, that’s why you are too good doing what you do Tim running with the football for me.

Bottom line=Tebow is a system quarterback and he will not work in the nfl, you can't run like that in the nfl.

Heck, Ken Dorsey started a game. Although it was because of two injuries in front of him, the fact that he started still says something.

Matt Jones an Arkansas QB was converted into a WR/TE...might be a bad comparison but it can happens I guess. I'd forsee Tebow converted into a H back type FB before a TE.

Matt Jones ran a 4.3. He's a lot more athletic than Tim. Tebow is definitely a better passer, though.

He's actually started quite a few games in his career. He had a bunch with the 49ers, too. I don't think he's ever been first string, though.

Yeah, I remember him making some starts for the niners, but I was thinking they were because of injuries too.

At the end of the exchange Tebow actually called Kiper out on a point. Kiper had used the verbage "you're too good with the ball in your hands" and something along the lines of "you need to have the ball in your hands." Tebow thanked him, and then proceeded to ask him that, as a quarterback "wouldn't he have the ball in his hands every play?" Sounds to me like point to Tebow. I'm in no way a Tebow fan, but like a previous post said, I wouldn't bet against him.
