Memorial Day Weekend

Honor memorial day the way you want to.
Not how others think you should.
If my brothers/sisters in arms were still alive to this day. We would BBQing and getting hammered. Their sacrifice is not forgotten. Do what you wish on memorial day. But be safe.

Remember why we take notice of this weekend while you are firing up the grills and opening up the pools. It's not about America, it's not about Veterans, it's about remembering brave men and women who paid the price for freedom. Take some time to think about the ultimate sacrifice some made in order to keep our freedoms. No matter what side of the political isle you sit on, we can all come together and pay respect to those who didn't care about political or social agendas, they only cared about the men and women beside them and their countrymen at home. Be safe and always remember.

"The greatest glory of a free-born people is to transmit that freedom to their children."

-William Harvard

Well said.

Very thankful for all that gave the ultimate sacrifice for the good of mankind and God's creation. God bless each and every one.

Ours has been the traditional smoked ribs plus the sides. A church wide picnic yesterday evening followed by a lazy day with the grandson today. Blessed.
