Memphis had an estimated crowd of 2500 last night for their home football game against Marshall. And the way crowds are typically estimated, 2500 really means it was 1600-1800 probably.

No, I did not miss a zero...not 25,000....2500. Can you imagine that in Neyland?

Don't know if we have any recruiting targets in the area, but we really should be able to pull a couple of Memphis kids.

If you think we got it bad, look at Memphis. THAT is a mess!

Henry County is playing Memphis Ridgeway tonight.. Ridgeway has a few D1 Studs but I don't think TN is looking at them real hard. Not for sure though. Memphis football is a joke..

Did anyone see any part of that game?

Who would go sit in the cold to watch that product? It's terrible.

Marshall committed 5 TOs, Memphis committed 0. Memphis lost.

That's terrible football.

Yeah, that's terrible. But if Memphis happened to be my team, I'd still support them.

If UT were 0-10 right now, I'd still be going to games whenever I could.

You say that now. UT's bad years in football are still better than Memphis' best. I don't think you understand how far UT would have to fall to reach this level.

I watched the game last night. Honestly the worst football game I've seen in a decade.

I watched North Carolina and Virgina Tech but I would have watched Memphis if I knew they were playing. What channel was that on?

I just love the two people laying down on the seats in that photo...LOL!!!

Why would we recruit that far out of state?

I agree, but in all honesty, if UT didn't schedule teams like Montana, MTSU, and Buffalo, the Vols would probably be very close to 1-9 or 2-8 right now.

Different situations, but 2,500 fans is horrible even for a program like Memphis.

80% of FBS teams would be either winless or 1-9 with a schedule like ours if the cupcakes were subbed for decent teams. We already have the toughest schedule out of any school in the country.
