obviously, I'm just glad my family and I are able to work hard enough to make sure others can buy $700 worth of free liquor.

Because of my job I deal with alot of Section 8 residents(Subsidized Rent). Some are receiving WIC, TANF, SS, and other assistance or all of the above. Somehow though they have 47" flat screens and cars that cost twice as much as mine. The need for assistance is there but some of those who receive the assistance don't try to save the money and use it to build to a better future. They would rather keep drawing assistance, while getting today's latest toys, trapping themselves in the viscous cycle that is subsidized housing.

But politicians would have you believe there is no welfare corruption. I guess they don't see it as corruption since they are doing the same damn thing.

The Sec 8 system is as corrupt as they come. The whole system is setup bassackwards. People quickly figure out the less you make the less you pay. They wind up either hiding income or quitting jobs just to get more assistance.
