We need to win this game. Vandy will have no motivation next week to beat us because Kentucky is violating them right now. This is the first home game I've sat out it a while.

BTW, just heard on the radio that the Clausen - Briscoe 40 yard TD was the first pass play over 35 yards since the UAB game . . . Damn.

Interesting question you pose there. There are a billion people in this forum that believe ainge needs to stay in to "regain his form"

i been saying all along that clausen aint good, but ainge is worse.

I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt but not anymore he sucks and I don't know why but I could care less what he does now he plays like a little girl and all he does is makes mistakes and throws interceptions...It's Clausen's job the rest of the way...Ainge will get his chance next season and if he plays like he has this season it will be Crompton starting

I've ALWAYS dreamed of Steve coming home. Feels weird typing it though!!!
I've NEVER seen a quarterback regress as bad as Ainge has this year. It can't just happen that way...to that degree! You have to have someone really working hard to screaw a kid up that bad!!!!!

My question is why Ainge ever replaced Clausen in the first place? We were never losing bc of RC, but we have lost bc of EA.

Ainge is finished now. If Fulmer has any class about him he will release him from his scholarship. If he was going to play him he should have let him build a little confidence instead of having him know that he will be pulled in 1st quarter. Ainge doesn't have a chance Tn still has the same dumb ass calling the plays. He throws the ball down field and the defense know where its going as soon as they line up. So yes he is going to throw ints.

But of course fulmer has no class about him. Doesn't care about working on next year just trying to save his fat ass this year.

Regardless of fault, EA is dangerous to TN's health right now. You don't let a guy build his confidence at the expense of the entire team.
