Long and athletic... Very good defensively and is best when they run and gun... Barnes better have the rotations figured out thru this stretch coming... Feel good with whats ahead??

Memphis struggles offensively in the half court, while UT is sound defensively. That’s where UT matches up well. But you do have a point. If UT can generate enough efficient 3 point production, they’ll win.

We're one of the best teams in generating turnovers in the nation and they are top 10 in turnovers committed in the nation... are you looking at statistical data or going off 20 minutes of basketball during a home game? Jesus dude chill out.

It will be a tough game, no doubt, but don't read too much into this one game. We're a far better half-court defense than Alabama. We're disruptors, and love to create turnovers. Memphis is not like Texas Tech. We probably won't face a defense like TTU for awhile.

Going off what I see... Im not a statistical nerd... Hope your right and our defense and creating turnovers works out... Much more components other than that tho... We just seem to struggle more against the long athletic teams other than Kentucky... But i get your point

Outside of this game memphis has been pathetic the previous 4 games... I think we will be ok.

If Bama isn’t hitting 3’s, they are a very average team. And they can’t hit the broad side of a barn right now. Many of them open 3’s. And they are not a good rebounding team either. They have forced Memphis into 14 turnovers already but hasn’t made them pay. Hopefully we do. Memphis is very athletic and frenetic but if we handle the ball well, I believe we will do OK.

Same could be said for us. If we’re not hitting from the outside, it’s a long game.

I think 75% of Memphis points were lob dunks. Just by watching them they didn't seem inoress offensively. Just did one thing over and over and Bama couldn't stop it.

Also, just like previous Penny teams, his players signature flops and dramatization were still on display.

Yes but Penny is still the coach and he will be fired at the end of the year. They may make the NIT this year and Barnes gonna give Penny another lesson.

Bama offense is good, but there defense isn’t great.

Memphis will challenge our team no doubt but I think we have a better team than Alabama and certainly a better defense. Memphis still doesn’t have a solid half court offense or back court play so wouldn’t be surprised if Barnes attempts to slow the pace a tad to expose that weakness. They do have size and athleticism though. Even though I believe they will provide a challenge for us, we are by far the best defense they will have faced. Think if Memphis plays like it did tonight, Vols win in a close one. X-Factor will be our 3 point shooting. If we’re halfway decent there, we’ll win solidly.

They are a very talented team but can be undisciplined.... Our post play is way overmatched... Vescovi doesn't have the footspeed... We have to go Combo with Chandler/Ziegler.... Z is good defensively and can run good offensively half court as well... Him and Chandler have to see the floor the most

I really don't understand why people continuously keep bringing up Sanit's foot speed when IMO he's improved his agility a ton since last year and isn't playing with a bum hip. Santi has incredible hands and defensive IQ to more than make up for the "foot speed" many keep bringing up.

Have to play good defense and box out. Most of Memphis’ offensive game is either jack up a 3 or throw up a wild shot and send 4 guys to the offensive glass. They really don’t run an offense that I can recognize.

His footspeed is average at best... Thats easy to see.. He plays with good anticipation and sees the play... But he is not quick... Average at best and thats ok... Hes a good basketball player
