Yes. The FEF was the only refuge in Downtown Memphis from the incessant ringing of cowbells. Another observation: The Memphis locker room is nicer than 99% of the homes in America. Also, Joey Drosey is an intimidating guy up close.

I just got back. Interesting night. Met my friends roommate... The roommate is sketchy as all hell. Good game though.

The guy sitting in the seat next to me won the Best Buy big screen. I was VERY pissed. :furious3: That kills my odds now. :bad:

It was a great atmosphere in the FEF though. The Gonzaga game might be a little less than the Gtown and Zona games but I expect the Tennessee game to possibly surpass these past two games.


Some notes (most are obvious):

• Taggart could be the starting center for 95% of Division 1 schools IMO.
• Rose is really struggling.
• Calipari seems to be going to the bench less and less. Kemp, Mack and Co. just don't seem to get as many minutes in the big games, which I guess is understandable.
• Refs were horrible, especially in the first half.

What's crazy to me is that Memphis is ONLY winning by defense. When Cal gets the offense humming (which he will), they'll be scary.

I don't know, they don't shoot well. They need to generate easy transition buckets, cause in halfcourt sets they're not great (although UT will make them look like gran-mama's UNLV squad)
