If they shoot a 54% clip against a UCLA, Kansas, Tennessee, etc., it would most certainly cost them. I'd almost employ the Hack-a-Shaq method on Dorsey depending on the situation.

one of the 2 guys that showed up to play hit the last shot, yes. But, to say they will make those shots when needed based on 1 night is a bit of a stretch, especially considering all the misses leading up to the final one. The game didn't have to go to the wire if they hit half of those in the final couple of minutes.

Crunch time came, they choked at the foul line, cept for CDR.

That has yet to be seen. Did Dorsey even play tonight? He only had 1 point..He wasn't a factor.

They are winning there games to the point to where they don't need FT to win a game. This one and USC was about the only games they needed FT.

I agree it might be a issue deep in the tourney but it hasn't been so far, thats all.

I know what you are saying and if the Vols don't win it all, I hope the Tigers do. I have met Cal several times and he has been great for that program and the city. I just cannot figure his history of poor free-throw shooting teams at Memphis.

I'll be there next Sat gonna be fun, look forward to see Dorsey throwin some dunks down and Lofton reigning 3's and CDR aka Mr. Clutch hittin more FT's like tonite.

just saw the highlights again on espn....idk if anyone else noticed it but on cdr's 3 that made it 76-77 it looks as if his foot is on the line...not tryin to beat a dead horse but i just saw that and it looked very close

And I don't think there is any doubt that both Memphis and the Vols are #1 seeds right now. What a shame it would be if neither made it because they cannot shoot a @#% free throw.

I just looked at it on DVR and it's very close, too far away to really tell for sure where his foot was.

yep i wasnt for sure but just by watchin it the past couple of times i looked like his foot was on the line...but memphis did wat they had to do to win 2nite
