Seriously? They beat Ole Miss by 2 TDs but they couldn't hang with us?

They would hang, but I've watched four full UM games this year and I'm not convinced they would slow us down a bit.

I think it would be something like 45-31.

Texas still might get rid of Strong. The Oklahoma win might have saved his job.

Fuente would do extremely well there.

That coach has those boys playing ball...
I would hate to play them if I were anyone right now...
South Carolina needs to throw the bank at that guy...
Not that I want our competition to do well but, actually I do... The SEC east is so far behind its not funny,Tennessee, USC, Georgia, and Florida all need to be at the top of there game in order for our side to get the respect it deserves..I just want Tennessee to be the better of the four, are you all picking up what I'm laying down...

I'm not...... It smells like BS to me

I don't know.... Their fan base is anemic.... Their stadium is 45 minutes from campus..... They can't openly buy their players any more....

I agree. They have 3 fans in the entire state.

I'd say Carolina is the best job right now. Spurrier set the bar higher, and with Coach Tanner as AD
I think its a much better job than it was 10 years ago. SC has great fans, with low expectations.
Spurrier was making over $4mil, so the budget is there.

Memphis State would beat the crap out of us.

Nah, I've seen them play a lot, only reason I wasn't there today is I hate Ole miss fans and had better priorities, also I'm a Vol fan.

Their defense isn't great by any means, they can't defend zone read and Ole miss couldn't properly execute one. UT could hand 50 only allowing 28

For one thing, it's not even "Memphis State" anymore and hasn't been in over 20 years and for another, they just barely beat Cincy at home in a game they allowed 46 points and over 600 yards of total offense. This is just an overreaction to a win over an Ole Miss team that is crashing and burning with no offense.

Dobbs would absolutely have another 300 yard passing and 100 yard rushing game against that defense.

It will always be Memphis State junior. Sorry. And Cincinnati has a better offense that we do.
