Just when I'm close to believing, she pulls such a Holly-esque loss. Easily her worst at Tennessee.
This is why we have battered fan syndrome...
The upcoming games will show if the players can lift themselves and each other up and regain that tough, never-say-die mentality that we know is inside them. These games with also be a good test of the staff's ability to motivate and inspire that recovery in addition to strategically patching the leaks.
Anyone who cares for the players has to hurt for them and be publicly pulling for them, especially those able to attend games in person. This is a good test for the fan base, too, to see how we handle adversity.
The fan base? It's irrelevant. When a team wins, the fans are content. When it loses, the fans get frustrated--and if the losses start to pile up frustration turns to agitation. It's true for all fans of all teams in all sports. This isn't a group hugging exercise; it's sports--and fans react predictably to wins and good play and losses and poor play.
Watching the men’s team grind out a big road win last night in the first game since losing Olivier Nkamhoua for the season only reinforces how utterly lame it is that Kellie still uses the Green injury as an excuse for the total team collapse we’ve seen the last 4 games. Nkamhoua was a starter and a much more significant contributor. This team is without question mentally tough, even with this horrible Auburn loss tonight. It's not even up for debate either.
…dammit turbo..that’s damn near centered…The fan base? It's irrelevant. When a team wins, the fans are content. Still uses? Not sure that’s currently the case.Watching the men’s team grind out a big road win last night in the first game since losing Olivier Nkamhoua for the season only reinforces how utterly lame it is that Kellie still uses the Green injury as an excuse for the total team collapse we’ve seen the last 4 games.
