Met coach BJ, Tee and his family shortly after lunch today. CBJ seems like a very humble, classy, guy and genuinely thrilled to be here. Told Tee "welcome home, hope you are here to stay". He flashed that boyish smile, and said "thanks man, appreciate that". People were chanting "Tee", as they passed, his wife and son seemed kinda overwhelmed with all the attention. Sure hope we can get these folks here. IMO, we will hear something official by tomorrow, possibly this evening.

My best friend is the guy in the background of your avatar, wearing the yellow rain jacket. He works for Air Wisconsin at McGhee-Tyson. had no idea he was in the picture with Tee until I told him it was circulating Vol message boards.

Let's all agree on a point of protocol and terminology going forward, huh? "Coach Butch Jones" is OK. "CBJ" is OK. "Coach BJ" sounds like a sexually graphic slur. Just an observation.

Nice to hear. What was CBJ's reaction to the chants of Tee?

Agreed. "Coach BJ" just makes me wish we called him Lyle! CLJ!

I hope that this response truly resonated with Tee's family. Their husband and father certainly will not be appreciated, even adored, at USC nearly as much as he is, and will be, on the sacred ground of Big Orange Country.
