Saban trumps Spurrier, Fulmer and Vince Dooley by virtue of winning more national titles than those three combined.
But roddo's post about Saban being the best of all-time at sustaining an elite program might be one his less intelligent posts, which is saying something.![]()
Braynt's record at Alabama was 232-46-9.Saban has went 84-11 over the last seven years and that's after he put LSU on the map. He's won 3ncs in that span. Id say he can sustain an elite program. Bear won 137-38-5 with six titles at Bama. If you project Sabans record and NCs it goes to 168-22 and six NCs, add his first year and his record 175-28. I'd like you to name a coach that's done better in the modern era? This should be good. I'm awaiting one of your many unintelligent responses.

You are correct sir. I was looking at overall record vs sec in his Bama history. I looked at the wrong column. Sabans projected record at Bama is still very comparable if not better. Just trying to prove that my statement was not as far fetched as some would lead you to believe.
I'm glad you put Snyder in there. Great coach. I might even move him up a bit on the list. They're 1a and 1b to me.
In terms of sheer coaching ability, my top 10 college coaches of the last decade are:
1. Meyer
2. Saban
3. Harbaugh
4. Carroll
5. Chip Kelly
6. Patterson
7. Petersen
8. Snyder
9. Fisher
10. Malzahn
Pinkel is a strong candidate for top 10 as well.
