If severe NCAA sanctions do come to fruition for Miami it's obviously a huge short-term impediment for the program, but they should have no difficulty finding a decent coach. They're not elite anymore and obviously bowl bans would hurt, but it's still a top-flight program in terms of recruiting potential. Have a straitlaced, above-board guy step in and weather the storm (no school is ludicrous to fire someone like that if the program's success potential has been damaged by the NCAA) to take the program back to a bowl within five years.
A Miami in shambles is still a dream gig for a lot of talented, under-the-radar types out there. Gary Andersen, maybe?
