Dade, the most dangerous county in the country

100% not true...I've lived here 20 years without one problem...Every city has its bad elements..In fact, I had a bigger problem with crime in Knoxville than I've had here...Got my apartments broke into twice in knoxville and had my car stolen once....Lost two friends due to shootings there so like I said, Every city has its bad elements.k:

Miami, like Atlanta, has its crazy sections. Mike Parady goes to school in Dade County, too, but Booker T. is a LOOOOONG way from St. Thomas Aquinas.

A billion-dollar illicit industry can't help but touch everyone in some way. Its a dadgum shame that this kid got caught in the crossfire. Same thing happened to a kid at Booker T. Washington here in ATL a couple of years ago. What a bunch of foolishness.

i am a born and bred richmonder so i feel like i can provide some insight into my fair cities inclusion on the crime lists...as was said earlier richmond's murder rate is consistently near the top of the list for the most part due to heavy drug trafficking along the I-95 corridor and the emergence of numerous gangs who have migrated from larger cities i.e. crips, bloods, ms 13, latin kings, etc...however, this violence is mostly segregated to several small areas of town that the vast majority of richmonders spend their entire lives without entering. gilpin and creighton court are two housing projects that are consistently among the two most dangerous places to live in this nation, but most richmonders couldn't even tell you where they are. outside of the bad parts of town richmond is actually one of the safest places to live and the metro area has been included on many lists stating just that. so while we do deserve our place on the murder list, it doesn't exactly tell the whole story.

I just think all of this crime is just a real tragedy in our great country of ours.
