Michael Dyer was at UT game

Dyer is 100% barn.

Guys there are news stories where he says he is committing to Auburn.

There is also a video where he and his boys mark the instate hawgs.

There is also lots to the rumor that D. Mosley is committing here and that after that, he will be joined by his close friend and Little Rock Christian teammate Michael Dyer.

Which would explain why we felt good enough about someone high on the RB board to say no to Gio Bernard.

He is not scared of Bryce Brown and Oku, he is seeing how much B Brown is playing with Hardesty and thinking that can be him next year.

^^ this dyer isn't scared of the depth at RB

but i was thinking that maybe our futur O-line situation looked a little bleak for him

I think what he is saying is that he would be the secondary back just like Bryce is this year. Feature back will be Bryce then it will be a serious competition for second back.

Side note since this is an Arkansas kid, does anyone know why Univ. of Arkansas is doing so bad in recruiting (Rivals rank #53)? They're looking better on the field... seems like offensive players would want to come.

What was said that would make Dyer ours?

people who talked to him at the game and people who heard things from people who talked to him at the game... could all be lies, could be Dyer just getting people off his back, but hey I think we're gonna get him cuz I'm a super huge optimist who gets let down a lot lol

It's Arkansas.

I have been skeptical that we would sign a RB this year but I now think we will get Dyer or Brown(mack).

I know one of the managers on the team and he said he thinks Dyer might come... I guess we'll see though. I hope he's right. I'll ask him again tommorrow if he's heard anything else.

because it gets 90% of the people around you off your back but it still leaves the option to look around to make sure you made the right choice. imo

Yes that is exactly what I was saying.

As far as Arkansas having trouble recruiting, I think people do not realize what a debacle it has been with the firings and the hirings and the transfers.

One of the most well liked and famous high school coaches in the last 20 years in Arkansas is none other than Auburn's offensive coordinator Guz Malzahn. When he was fighting with Houston Nutt and Mustain was transferring to USC and Broyles was fighting with Houston Nutt etc it was a total debacle. The Razorbacks have just gone through a civil war and things have not healed.

Imagine if Fulmer was still doing pretty well but got into a fight with Cutcliffe and Cut ended up at USC taking TN kids and Fulmer ended up at UGA taking TN kids. The situation is even worse than that because Cut never had the reputation in HS coaching circles in TN that Gus has/had in Arkansas.

Poor Petrino came in with the stench of a quitter from the NFL and a staff that lacks anyone recruiting wise who can hold a candle to Rodney Garner or Trooper Taylor or Thompson, Orgeron, Gran or Kiffin.

It is just going to be hard for the guy to bring in top talent. He needs a fence around the state. It will be best for him if Gus M leaves to take a head coaching job somewhere outside the South.
