"know" ????
Saban would be the only one that "knows" one way or the other. Thats a ridiculous question. Do you "know" that I am not going to get offered the job of CEO of Microsoft? There is a MUCH better chance that he stays where he is at. Negatives far outweigh the positives at Alabama. But, sure I guess your point is that anything is possible and that is true. Anything is possible.
Saban is not going to Alabama.
I conceded that I didn't "know" his decision. I was not trying to be snide with those comments. I was just saying there was no way anybody knew for sure. I thought there was very slim chances that he left Miami for Alabama. I did say anything can happen and anything DID happen. I am very surprised in his decision. But, you never know what carries the most weight with these coaches. I think he is going to find it a bad place to coach but who knows. Maybe they will change "for him" but I doubt it. Alabama is going to be Alabama. The problem now is that we have to contend with Alabama and they have a great coach. Bad news for UT.
Bad news for UT.
Got that right. UT loses to Penn State in the Outhouse Bowl. Saban goes to Alabama. Most likely all the recruits that had decommitted will commit to Bama once again. Chris Donald will probably go to Notre Dame. Robert Meachem will probably go to the NFL.
Something has to go UT's way someday... right? Hopefully the comments about Donald and Meachem are wrong, but with the way things are going for UT so far, I wouldn't doubt it.
