btw just because it is run by a religious organization that doesn't mean it isn't funded primarily by the gov't.

Want to get personal? How about this for a start. That picture more than proves the hypocrisy of the Obamasheep. That despicable racist bitch stands there grinning like an idiot, while serving an upscale buffet to 'homeless' people. These leeches upon society can afford the Blackberry Plan thanks to our tax dollars. Let them spend those welfare checks on their basic personal upkeep.

Do you know the source of this soup kitchen's funding? Can prove that they receive NO contributions from any charitable organiztions that do receive government funds? What is the tax status of this 'upscale soup kitchen'?

To me the issue is whether or not the dude taking the picture is homeless/receiving govt. aid. Seems like he's doing well merchandise-wise for someone on the dole.

I lived in DC for 5 years. Miriam's Kitchen has a very good reputation in DC and are very involved in the community. With that said, I highly doubt they'd lie about where they get their money from.

Also, I know of multiple Marines I served with that volunteered at Miriam's in coordination with the Youth Organizations they also volunteered at. A lot of rich DC folks donate there to promote themselves in the community (DC metro is home to 2 of the 5 richest counties in the US).

Kinda like how down here in Huntsville the corporate/private "who's who" donates to the Jupiter V foundation.

With that said, I can't comment on the people being fed there. Only the Kitchen Michelle Obama's publicity stunt was taking place at.
