Back in the day the person who ran each school cafeteria could make the menu and meet the budget with funds provided.

My grandmother ran a school cafeteria for many years and supplied a healthy menu of wholesome food.

The students may not have liked everything we were served, me included, but still it was good wholesome food that satisfied our physical needs.

But that was before big brother and big sister started mandating all sorts of weird crap, the bottom line is that we don't need the federal government with their noses into every little thing, this country becomes more like the former USSR every day and that isn't a good thing.
