Oakland High to host Michigan satellite camp

bUTch should set up a satellite camp the same weekend in the same city. Let Harbaugh do a camp in Oakland and let bUTch do you at Riverdale.
This will put a damper on Harbaugh. Heck, we have enough people from Michigan moving to middle Tn. already, the last thing we need is for them to bring their football influences here also.

While I get Coach Creasey's enthusiasm, this is big corporate to the max, right in our back-yard as the testing ground.

I’m old school – hold summer camp on your own campus / leave summer camp for actual TEACHING and MENTORING, not recruiting.

Yet still,

I say we welcome Coach Harbaugh and staff, with 200 Sons of Tennessee (native and newly commissioned) dressed in ORANGE shirts and WHITE shorts – 200 kids in ORANGE (with a little blue mixed in if needed), all daily swarming to and huddled around Coach Harbaugh for the camp photo.

Or, is there likely by chance, a camp dress-code??

Here's the only thing that will matter in the long run: if Butch wins on the field - starting this year - then the recruits will come. Tennessee has shown throughout a long, proven history that it can and will attract top players from any area.

Mich may get a guy or two from TN, but not consistently. History tells us that. There's a reason there aren't many guys from the South lining up to go to on of the coldest parts of the country during football season.

this seems dumb to me. is this just Harbaugh trying to get back at Butch Jones, and that other coach in Arkansas? seems like it would be better to set up camps in Miami, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Los Angles. those are places I would like us to do camps, if we do them at all. in my opinion Murfreesboro doesn't compair.
