Michigan State Pro Combats

Not horrible, but not a huge fan. A little too dark. White instead of gold and I think it'd be better

I don't care if it is historical or not to put the gold back in, the bottom line is it can't be good when your new uniforms remind everyone of Baylor.

And again with the freakin' black.

A better look at the helmet.

Seriously, nobody likes these? These are the best pro combats I've seen to date. Regardless of tradition or school colors, the green and gold/bronze is absolutely hawt.

There is a segment of the MSU fanbase that doesnt like the lack of white in the uni's. Afterall, in the fight song it says "fight for the only colors, Green and White".

But this is a one time thing, and the entire country checks in to see Pro Combat uniforms. I think it is pretty cool.

I like them. Are they exactly as I would have designed them, no. But the players helped design them, and that is pretty cool.

They are wearing them against umichigan on the 15th. (some say that any game but michigan and it would be a good thing) I say: If they work pink and mint green uniforms with daisies on the backsides, I would still be all in for this team. Just go out and kick some a#s.

As a State fan (a very distant second, though) I can't say I like them a whole lot.

The gold actually was part of team colors way back when. Also, I think they were inspired by the gold the real Spartans wore in battle.

With that said, they are still better than Georgia's. My favorite ones are still the Boise State uniforms they did. Cool and classy. These are just okay. I'm hitting up the VOLS/UGA game on the 8th and this the 15th, so it will be a fun two weeks. Just wish the order was flipped, nothing compares to Neyland Stadium's gamedays.
