On that 2 point conversion attempt...Swinging gate...can someone explain to me why the defense should put any players on the O-linemen? Why not put them all opposite the center and the QB? I'm not getting that

Had PSU not tried the 2 point conversion the first time, they wouldn't have needed to try it the second time. And you punt with 4 minutes left in the game - what the heck?

I had not watched either team this year - thought it was going to be a good game. I guess I am used to SEC football.

Penn State has one of the worst passing offenses in the country. It's terrible. The QB is not good, and neither are his receivers. Michigan didn't respect Pa. State's offense at all--ran the ball like 20/25 straight times in the second half. I thought I was watching Schembechler vs. Paterno, circa 1985: three yards and a cloud....

Oregon and USC will just be the western version of OSU and Michigan. We will never know how good they are because they play one good game all season and get 9 easy wins from the rest of the conference.
supposedly they are eliminating divisions. Otherwise, I totally agree

The Big10 has three of the top defenses in the country and make no mistake, they are all really good..... Throw in Iowa. If you don't like defensive football ( which for the most part wins championships) then it's not for you. I appreciate great defense.

The defenses are strong partly because most of the offenses sux.
