If it came down to that I would root for Southern Cal because I would love for them to enter the Big 10 on thier first year as National champs lol

The thing with both Michigan and OSU is it’s so hard to know what you have with either of them, and they’re so erratic. How does U of M dominate OSU and then go on to lose to TCU? How does OSU lose like that to Michigan and then come within a whisker of beating Georgia?

You can never count on the Big Ten heavyweights, but you can never count them out, either.

The problem with judging any Big Ten team is their horrible conference. Until the last game of the year, Ohio State was favored by 2 TDs (14 pts) or more in every game, including Notre Dame. That doesn't happen in the SEC.

Exactly, they can be just as good as their weak SOS has made them look or they can be a paper tiger. Honestly OSU last season was a bit of both.

If Tennessee can’t do it, I’d cheer for Michigan over Georgia any day of the week. Need a weaker Georgia for Tennessee to do damage in recruiting.

Your point is correct, but UGA came extremely close to that last season.
UGA -17.5 vs LSU
UT vs UGA -10 was their smallest spread for the season, outside of (+5)tOSU, then UGA -13.5 vs TCU.
UGA -23 vs UF
UGA -22.5 vs USCe
UGA -15.5 vs MSSt
UGA -22.5 vs UK
UGA -27.5 vs Mizzou

Honestly, UM defeating tOSU last season was a huge upset in my mind.
tOSU was a true complete team.
UGA and Bama were the other two last season.

UM and tOSU had defenses almost dead even in scoring.
UM had their usual strengths, but their Big Uglies finally owned tOSU at the line of scrimmage.
