Haven't heard of one. For some reason, I get the idea Coach Pearl doesn't like to do these.

Plus, I'm sure that if they were having one, it would have been super-hyped. Maybe if we had had a big home game tomorrow or something.

Actually I'm surprised Pearl hasn't tried to throw one of these together, with the guest performer being himself and his point guards as his backup dancers

Tennessee's a football school, especially with a new coach and a big win over UGA. Those only go on at basketball schools like UNC, Duke, and UK.

They only work well with crazed fans like Kentucky. They are camping out to get into theirs.

I live in Raleigh and they are pumping up the ones at UNC and Duke. Honestly though, Kiffin is getting more pub on an off week than their midnight madness's! bwaahaaaa

I'm sure Bruce will have one...but he's smart enough to plan one when all the student's will be on campus. I'm pretty sure it's Fall Break.

It is fall break. It would be illogical to have one and only be disappointed by the turnout. I could see them having one in future years when all the students are on campus.

Actually we've had one before, back when Green was coaching I believe. Part of it was on ESPN.

Anyone know if and when practice is open to the public? If so how do you get in etc? Thanks! :)

I disagree. It was SRO beyond Yo Gotti.

There were empty seats all over that arena, just because they were stuck between people who refused to scoot towards the middle of the row didn't mean they weren't there.

Highlight of the night was a middleaged, fat, white woman dancing with her hands in the air to Yo Gotti. Everything else was mediocre. Dunk Contest was ok. 'Free play' was awful.

While I don't totally agree with this, the people having to stand could fill up those empty seats, therefore 18K.

Exactly what were you expecting? A 10 minute speech read for a teleprompter?

The three point contest was one of the most disorganized things I have ever seen.
That was VERY unorganized and pretty silly.

1) what are you talking about?

2) I know this may sound silly, but I would expect at least the level of defense played in rocky top league for the free play. It was worse than that. And that is sad.

1) What "events" were you expecting? The 10 minute lecture being read from a teleprompter reference was Calipari at UK's MM.

2) The free play was just like the old Bluff City Classic. All offense and no defense. It wasn't going to be a hard-nosed scrimmage/practice or anything.
