I don't even know you! Haha.

And you can't name 3 things I've been wrong about you simp...

Cover 2.
With a strongside blitz.

The Ball State WR did the right thing. When he saw the blitz coming he took one step and turned around to his QB.

Meanwhile Charles covered deep 3rd but never even considered the dude in the flat.

If you look at the opposite side, our CB is covering deep 3rd but tentatively because he's still 4 yards from the wideout in case the action comes his way.

Bo Nix led team will.never stand a chance against UGA.

They need to make a QB change now. Hell Bo has given them 14 pts.

Should be a good game.

Utah just the older more experienced team.

34-27 Utes

1. You claimed we were playing cover 2 with a strong side blitz (so a 5 man zone pressure I’m assuming) but also claimed both corners were playing deep 1/3? That’s not how cover 2 works.

2. You thought Oregon should bench Bo Nix who had an elite level season.

3. You thought Utah would be Florida

I wasn’t as worried about Milton than I was skeptical of our WRs without Hyatt and Ced. I didn’t think Squirrel could step in and play as well as Hyatt. I knew he was talented, but didn’t think he was ready to step up like he did in a big time game. Bru is a stud, and Ramel stepped up big time, but Hyatt would be too big of a loss to overcome.

I was more concerned how the defense would play than Joe and the WR group.

I would have put money on that kid having a decidedly better night than Milton. Glad I don't wager. On a somewhat related note, I have to wonder how this game might become the turning point for Milton. Huge stage. Tons of pressure. Talented, highly ranked opponent. And he did pretty well. No overthrows. Other than holding the ball too long, not much to complain about. This might be the spark and confidence builder that ignites a great senior season and allows Nico to come along more slowly. That's my hope anyway. Like you, I'm rejoicing at being wrong this morning. What a remarkable team and remarkable season. What I wouldn't give to have that USC game back.
I agree that he held the ball to long, BUT no fumbles no interceptions.

How about Mauer, Bailey, and then Hooker?

To be fair, I suppose we could say you've been wrong every quarterback projection ever.
I said Bailey would transfer. He did.
Maurer and Hooker yes. That's 2 things..

Lighten up, Francis. He owned up, which is more than a bunch of ppl here.

I was wrong too, I admit it.
I think it's hilarious that people try to kick a person when they're admitting they're wrong.

He's a tiny man.

Didn't think we had a game like this in us. Didn't think Milton could handle that stage. Certainly didn't think our defense could put a performance like this together. Thrilled to be wrong...again. Congrats to this team and superb fan base. They both represented in a big, big way with the eyes of the country all on this game. It's simply great to be a Tennessee Vol!

I really thought we would struggle and was a bit pessimistic. In terms of talent, Clemson is still up there with Alabama, OSU, Georgia so I thought it was gonna be an uphill battle. But our guys were ready to play and the coaches had very good game plans on both sides of the ball. Clemson may have a more talented roster but our guys played with much more heart and never batted an eye in the face of adversity. And we definitely had the advantage in terms of coaching. Dabo is an average coach who stumbled into a great roster with a generational QB.

Milton played well Enough for us to win obviously . He didn’t lose us the game. My concern is Milton locked onto his first read and by the time
He looked for his 2nd and 3rd reads he was sacked. Something he overcomes over the spring, hopefully.
