Bottom line = Hamilton should have waited to open his mouth and both should be fired. The end.

Edit: Hamilton should be fired and Pearl probably will be.. IMO if Pearl gets fired then this program takes 3 steps back and that is the last thing we need.

I stand by my opinion, that is my opinion.
One poster said it's not hamiltons fault for his comment, yes it is. He let this thing continue all year then turns on team 2 days before tourney. My opinion and what Hamilton did are two different things.

based on the posts i have seen here, rod wilks should be the new ad.

1. the ncaa won't mess with rod wilks.

2. rod wilks won't even need to raise money from tennessee boosters. he can just demand payment from alabama and florida boosters to keep the score respectable.

3. espn will change their corporate brand to the vol network to pay for all of their sins against tennessee and change rod wilks demeanor from angry to displeased.

4. johnny majors and phil fulmer would stop crying or rod wilks would give them something to cry about.

That is the point. You have 2 differing opinions. In 1 thread Hamilton should have fired Pearl in Sept. In the other thread you do not know if Pearl should be fired.

Baseball team has their first SEC series this weekend and their non-conference schedule so far was pathetic, so I am not putting a lot of stock into their 15-2 record. We will see what this team is made of after their trip to Lexington.

Hamilton should be fired regardless of if the Baseball and basketball teams win national championships. His tenure should not be tied to wins at this point.

No my opinion of pearl is coming from a fan standpoint. My original point of Hamilton is a poster said it's pearl fault for his comment. My point of Hamilton comes from a business standpoint. It doesn't hurt me if pearl stays or goes but it does Hamilton. If Hamilton didn't want to be put in that position he should of stopped it long ago but he goes and throws gas on a already blazin fire.

I agree, my comment was regarding the baseball team because their 15-2 record looks a lot better than it is. I'm sick and tired of Mike Hamilton, been on the fence this whole team but after that idiot's comments this week, I want him outta here.

Why exactly do people want Condredge to be the AD? Because they made a cool documentary about him? I'd rather have somebody a little bit more proven.
